"The Beatles and their musical creativity have been with me for decades. They're a legendary band who revolutionised music in the early 60s, and they've given me a lot of visual inspiration. I began by working on a painting representing the cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and then came up with the idea of another painting with a more conceptual approach based on iconographic work and a chronological presentation of portraits of the 4 Beatles. "
